Students may simultaneously complete requirements for another major while completing their physics requirements. If both majors are in the College of Letters and Science, then the student must complete a petition to declare a double major.
If the other major program is in another college (e.g. mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering), then the student must petition for a simultaneous degree. Please consult the L&S Forms & Petitions for specific procedures and regulations pertaining to double major and simultaneous degrees.
